What Was Made from our Timber in 2024?

Well it's been a while since we've posted in this blog and that's because we have been so busy milling and selling timber! We have loved meeting so many of you over the last 12 months and that you for supporting our sawmill venture.

As we enter 2025 we thought it would be nice to reflect on the pieces that have been made with our timber during the last year. Some of these pieces we have been involved with the build, and others you have done yourselves and kindly sent in some photos for us to see the outcome. If you've been working away on your own piece with our timber please do send in some pics for us to share on our social and inspire others.

This is an Ash chest of drawers and two matching bedside tables. We made these in the workshop from our Hertfordshire Ash, all planks from the same tree to ensure the perfect match.

This amazing electric guitar was made by our very talented customer. He purchased some beautiful English walnut from us to be used in the creation of this beautiful piece.

This is one example of the Waney Edge dining tables we have made from our timber over the past 12 months. Each piece totally unique and a real statement in any room.

We cant think of a better use for this piece of beech than it becoming a bench top for a garden bar! In fact we'd like this set up at our own house please.

A striking Hertfordshire Ash door made in our workshop and fitted as part of a S. Nicholl Furniture kitchen commission.

A beech dining table with matching bench seats. We made this in our workshop once our customers has selected their chosen timber. When we originally milled this timber we found a toad living in the tree which we managed to rescue!

Whilst this is just a small sample of the pieces created from our timber we cant wait to see what 2025 has in store! It's so lovely to see such a range of items being made, as a variety of timbers being chosen too.
