We are always looking to expand our timber collection so if you have a fallen tree or small amount of felled trees you would like to sell we would be interested talking further to see if we can purchase these from you. We are based in rural Hertfordshire and depending on the volume we would be happy to travel to collect logs within the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas. Please note at the moment we do not mill or kiln dry timber for other people.
If you are looking for extra help with your project we have a busy, fully kitted out workshop at our Hertfordshire base. We can assist in all the stages required in the process of getting a raw plank of wood ready to use in your project. Once you have chosen your slabs we can help with cutting, flattening, sanding and finishing to the boards. We can give you an exact cost of whichever services you need once you have selected your chosen timber. At this point we can also give you an idea of timescale.
If you are interested in selecting timber and having a complete furniture build then we can complete the whole process from start to finish through S. Nicholl Furniture. We have been designing and making unique bespoke furniture for over a decade and are excited to now combine this work with our new venture of Whitwell Sawmill.
